Chiromassage©
AT KREUZPLATZ ZURICH
Chiromassage© is a method that works deeply on the neuromuscular system to improve skin turgor and reduce psychological stress throughout the body. This unique technique combines elements of classical and Eastern massage systems to achieve impressive results in a short time, making it indispensable for body and facial care.
IMPRESSIVE RESULTS
- Relief from muscle tension and pain
- Improves blood and lymph circulation
- Restoration of facial contour
- Improves skin elasticity and muscle tone
- Prevention of body ageing, particularly of the face
- Weight reduction
- Correction of cellulite problems
- Reduced stress levels and improved emotional state
FLEXIBILITY AND PERSONALISED APPROACH
Chiromassage has no set routine, allowing the technique to be adapted to the individual needs of the client. During the massage, the fingertips, fingers, palms, backs of the hands, forearms and elbows are used. The main techniques are rubbing and deep stroking, which can be considered as passive muscle gymnastics. This approach makes it possible to act on the muscular, joint, vascular and nervous systems, taking into account the anatomical characteristics of the client. The characteristic gentle, rhythmic movements contribute to relaxation and improve blood and lymph circulation.
CHIROMASSAGE© OF THE FACE
Facial Chiromassage is a treatment for the face, neck, shoulders and décolleté. It improves facial contours, tones the skin, smoothes wrinkles, oxygenates the cells and eliminates waste products and toxins, leaving the client looking younger and healthier.
CHIROMASSAGE© OF THE BODY
Chiromassage of the body is a massage technique that ensures a complete and deep action on the muscular and ligamentous apparatus.
HISTORY OF THE TECHNIQUE
The term “chiromassage” (QM) was first used in Spain by Dr VL Ferrándiz García (1893-1981), who had studied naturopathy in the USA and Switzerland. The technique quickly spread throughout the Iberian Peninsula and was further developed by numerous successors over the following 80 years. One of the best known and most advanced researchers of this technique was Professor Enrique Castells García (1959-2010), founder of the “Inmaster” Institute. He significantly expanded the methodological and theoretical foundations of Chiromassage, integrating the achievements of modern medicine, adding new techniques and creating a multi-level training system.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHIROMASSAGE© AND CLASSICAL MASSAGE
In Chiromassage©, the techniques are more differentiated in terms of depth of action and physiological effect. For example, the stroking technique can be applied superficially and long in the form of an eight, which promotes the inhibition of the sympathetic nervous system. On the other hand, the stroking technique can be performed in the direction of blood or lymph flow, which has a draining effect. The rubbing technique can be used to stimulate the appropriate proprioceptors in the muscles, resulting in a reduction or increase in muscle tone. In addition, friction can help to improve venous return, promote stretching of the muscle fascia and improve muscle elasticity.
